Is the 586 L comp discontinued?
Just wanted to ask if anyone knows, I don’t see any for sale around, not even on the big auction site. Wondering if they are only making the 19 carry comp now. Thanks!

The L-Comp has been available continuously for more than two decades now.
Obviously this is not a HUGE demand gun like an M&P or Shield. They probably get run once or twice a year. During the in between time, dealers do not have any
However keep your eyes open, because all of a sudden they will be everywhere
If you have a good working relationship with you LGS and you are a patient person, go and put one on order. That way you will be sure to get one the next time the Factory runs them.

Id need what ive got into it. $1100 to me with all fees covered by you to include Desantis leather OWB holster.
Includes performance center case, but no rubber overmolded grips
Excellent low round L Comp with just a faint turn line on cylinder.
Fires to POA with windage adjustment in the middle. Dead tritium vial like all the others!!!

The "night sight" on the L comp is a joke. I painted over it day one.

I just had a look on the S&W website and there appears to be a couple of models taken down. Eg Classic Model 27 with 6.5" barrel, Model 629 with 3" snubby barrel (not the PC one). Or maybe they have been gone for a while and I just didn't notice.

Yes, but moon clips are not required.

The 3" 629 and the L-Comp are both still on the website. Looks like only the 4" 27 is currently on there. You need to understand the new website. They only have one listing for each model that you can "configure" with available barrel lengths and other options once you click on them. The old website with a separate listing for every single variation of each model is gone.
