Question Question on Rear Sight Assembly on M627

I have to pull the rear sight assembly off my M627 Perf Center .357. Last night when I was cleaning it, I didn't notice before that the rear sight blade, one side was a bit bent forward. So I called S&W and they said pull it and drop it in the mail and they would fix it with a new blade assembly. To remove it I just need to pull the one screw and slide it off..... right? And that should do it. Beats sending the whole gun back for something that minor.
Thanks,

Yes - remove the front screw and slide the assembly back. Dont loose the little foot that fits in the slot.

You got the intelligent C.S. person! When I have called re the Eagle boots on my UDR's, they wanted me to send the whole gun in. I simply requested they test fit replacements on any current RB N-frame - they fit as poorly on my 625's and 629's as they do the 627's. I was told they couldn't do that for a production gun - send the whole gun in. I reminded them these two were PC Shop guns - but it fell on deaf ears. I sent the grips in for my second UDR over a week ago - last time, it took over a month to get a replacement set - that didn't fit right , either. Yeah, I'm nit-picking - I like larger grips better anyway!
