627PC is it worth the cost
So I currently have a 66-1snubbie, 66-3 3in, 66-2 4in with box and correct grips and 686 Classic Hunter. Im debating picking up a used 627PC 4in thats at my local shop and possibly selling my 66-2. Is this a good idea Ive always heard how good the PC guns are interms or accuracy and action. Or is it best I just keep the 66-2 even tho its never been shot in the last 2years. Someone please help Im going to the shop tomorrow.
Is the PC really worth the cost difference?

I've got a 66-1 2.5" and a 627-3 v-comp 5", and I really can't see where the PC actions are any better than the standard factory guns. Especially when compared to the older guns. When you compare them to the new factory the guns the great thing is they still have the forged hammers and triggers. But your 66's are all forged anyway.
Still though, where you have a 2.5" and the 3" 66's too I probably wouldnt hesitate to grab the 627, especially if it's an 8-shot. They are a ball to shoot!

Hey Mike
Is the 627-3 a prelock? Those are what I really want but they are hard as hell to find so this is just to take the place to see if I really like one until then. Yes the 627 is a 8shot

Yes it is a pre-lock and I was pretty tickled to find it! I was at a gun show a couple years ago and stumbled onto it, brand new old stock. I got it for a little less than $900 out the door. I'm a big fan of moon clips so I just had to have it.

627 PC V-Comp
Get the 627 V-Comp if you can find one ? I bought this one over summer and paid $1200.00 , it was all most NIB. I did a little work on her for Steel and USPSA. I started shooting 38 short colts 3 months ago, AWESOME. I'm shooting a 158gr.FP @ 1000 fps. and it's like a 22 going off.
