Never saw one before, but being from Florida, I would be honored to own one.

Same here. It would look great with my 1978 FHP issued Model 27. Just found out there were 394 made and numbered to celebrate the FHP anniversary, 1939-1989.

The gun came with a real nice wood / glass box that has the badge etched in the glass. It also came with a certificate of authenticity. I purchased it new in 1989 and it has never been shot. Can't wait to see what we are going to have for the 75th.

I own a State issued anniversary, I paid extra for the glass top box, if you remember. Mine has never been hand touch, or cylinder turned. It came a wrapped in a sheet of cosmoline paper. It has been in my gun safe all these years. Glad you reminded me of it. Curious as the number, I have seen some troops shooting them @ qualification time. Not that they counted, just showing off. How many could be left in "pristine" condition. They only started with 394 they were all stamped 1 of 394

any info about the 50th anniv. F.H.P. Would be apprec. I never see them anywhere, I would have to look to see how much I pd the state back when. I know there were two different cases, wood/glass etched. Most of the troops that bought them saved them, but many were sold, shot, whatever. Any info would be great, [email protected]
