Hi from Europe
Hi everyone. A new member from the Czech republic joining the forum :-)
And here is my first question:
I am just about to become a proud owner of a revolver SW M36 and I wonder if you can help me to discover how old this nice piece actually is. The registration number should be OPN3022 if I read it correctly. Not sure about the O at the beginning, might be also 8 or B
Thanks in advance for your help
Ondrej

If you are reading the number off the butt of the grip frame, it can't be an "O" or an "8". If it is a BPN3022 serial number, it was shipped in 1993. Hope this helps.

I don't believe the serial numbers are anywhere near that high yet.

How are the gun laws in the Czech Republic? We have this misconception that alot of the European countries are very restrictive but that's not always the case.
I also love CZ pistols and have quite a few of them, I would think they are pretty cheap and all over the place there

Hi from Bensenville, Illinois.
I, too, have a Czech made guns in Brno (or should I say Brunn?) factory. Long live Czech Republic. Best beer in the world ---> Pilsen Golden Pheasant.
p.s.
Almost as good as our Samuel Adams.
