Default Extractor Rod Collar???

I detail stripped my 627 PC UDR last night - including the cylinder assembly - but did not notice an extractor rod collar.

It occurred to me today, as I happened to peer at an older 627 schematic, that maybe I should have noticed one and inadvertently left if out during reassembly.

Can someone confirm or deny?

Thanks.

If you had left it out you would notice two things:

First, the extractor rod would be obviously short and the center pin would hang out the end.

Second, when you push the extractor rod it would have no spring pressure and just stay back.

If you don't see both of these then the collar os where it is supposed to be.

Alk8944,

You were absolutely right.

The collar was stuck to the rod and I found it when I disassembled my UDR again last night.

Thank you for the quick response.
