Picture Thread! Snubby 66's ONLY!
Ok guys.... there are lot's of these out there so let's see em!
Only Model 66's and 2 1/2" or 3" Only!
I just got a 66-4 3" so I'll start the ball rolling. I'm looking for grip ideas as I do NOT care for these ones on my gun.

I have two, the first is the "ulitmate" K frame, the super K!
Second is another rare one, the Lew Horton PC limited run 1 of 300
Both have original boxes, grips and paperwork!

My only picture that qualifies, sorry that it's a repeat. I think the satin finish on this -5 looks pretty spiffy, and while wood grips look great, these Uncle Mike combats are really comfortable for shooting. Recently acquired a 66-2, will try to post a pic:

I even like how it looks and feels Naked!
I am fallin for this gun! Feels great.
This is my first K frame Round Butt gun and I love the thing! I bought a new Model 19 4" back in about 1982 and it was "ok" but the Square butt didn't impress me I guess. This one is much more to my liking! Wish i had found this model back when they were new models -2 & -3 etc.....

I wanna see it snuggled in some of your leather, a 3" 66 would make a perfect "model" for a ad campaign!

My LA State Fire Marshal 66-1
Got this one this past summer. It was one of 14 that I know of. It had been shot very little when I got it.

I bought this one new in '77 or '78. Can't remember which. I carried this gun a LOT. Mostly in a Bianchi #9. The owner of the shop had me run 100 rounds through it and bring it back for a trigger job. It's been banging away ever since. It's one of two handguns I carried in Panama during the mid-80's, and one I would trust in any situation.

More of mine. 66-3 of 1993 vintage. I bought it from the original owner. He cut down the hammer spur and rounded and polished the trigger face.
I bought it in 1994 and it became a car gun for my wife for years. I just recently got her something else so I could get to know the 66 better. I love it. This target is 24 double action rounds starting at 7 yards and backing up after each 6 until I fired the last 12 at 10 yards.
Here it is with an older ancestor I picked up last October.

I know this is a 66 picture thread, but the 19's just happened to be lying around too...
I'm not too creative when it comes to grip choices, factory suit me fine.

I'm lovin this thread. I've got a 66 no dash 2.5 that is one of the two revolvers that I carry everyday. Don't have any pictures of it at this time. It looks like all the rest, and is currently wearing Pachmayer Compacts.

Here's a pic of my P&R M66 no-dash that Karl Sokol of Chestnut Mountain Sports Karl Sokol Chestnut Mountian Sports Gunsmithing Services built for me. The work includes:
-Smoothing the action without lightening the pull.
-Rounding the trigger and installing an overtravel stop.
-Dovetail front sight and install an orange inlay.
-Bob hammer.
-Dehorn all sharp edges.
-Bead blasted finish.
