Smile Model 627-2 5" Questions

I aquired a 627-2, 5" round butt, unfluted cylinder, 6 shot, gold bead front site, MIM frame. Serial CCU23XX. Smooth trigger. Has Hoguefinger grove grips w/S&W medallion. The barrel is LAZER ETCHED in Cursive, on left side, Smith & Wesson, Right side 357 Magnum. Product code, 148327. The SCSW states quanities unknown- 15 to 300 may be neither?
Does anyone know anything about these regarding actual quanity produced and appox value. I have been following the forum and have not seen any other posts for a 627-2. Any assitance is appreicated. Thanks Rom
