Very nice. I am looking for a similar holster by Sparks but they seem to be pretty busy and only take orders at the beginning of every month and if lucky enough to get in before the quota they say 6-7 months turn around. PM me cost and turn around time if you don't mind. Thank you.

Congratulations, sgt1911! That's a great-looking holster!
Ray/Lobo Gun Leather makes some of the best holsters I've encountered in 40+ years of carrying handguns on and off-duty. You've made a fine choice.
Shown below are my PC 627 UDR and M&P 340 in their Lobo Enhanced Pancakes and my 6" Model 28 in its hand-carved, full floral Tom Threepersons.

I sent my order in last week to Lobo for my new S&W 627 Pro. I too am going to get an enhanced pancake. Ray is a great person to deal with. Seeing your holsters makes the wait for mine even longer now....

That is nice! I am actually about to order an enhanced pancake for my 686-4+.
How do you guys feel about the hammer shield? I was thinking of getting it but it looks like it may not be needed.
Thanks,
Person

Person,
In my experience, a hammer shield is unnecessary unless you have a lot of "overhang."

Hehehe. Thanks for the info. I do not so I will probably not get it and save $5.
Thanks,

Not yet. You should plan ahead.
I agree with the OP and the rest of the posters. Ray does good work. Notice the hammer shield.

Nice rig! How does the Avenger work for concealment w/ that N frame? I've been considering it for my 4" 625's.
Butt forward cant, or straight drop? Thanks in advance!

I got Lobo's pancake for a 3" 629 a couple years ago. It is my favorite belt carry field gun/holster combo.
Great choice BTW!!!

It works just fine for me, it's a neutral cant. My barrel is a 2 5/8" so I don't know how it would be for your 4". I have one of his IWB for my 625 mtn gun though, and that works great.

How about the thumb break option? Does anyone think the thumbbreak option on the Lobo Enhanced pancake adds to it?? I'm afraid of my gun falling out if I fall while hiking in the deep woods --- this happened to me once when I was using a cheap holster.
thanks

I use a dedicated holster for my hiking, horseback riding, et al activities and an open top the rest of the time.
