Default What sights for my N frame

I am in the process of purchasing a pc 627 from a guy who has a red dot sight mounted on it. I would like to take this off and install open sights. I would like to get some opinions on different manufactures who make good sights. I would really like something like the three dot night sights that are on my 1911 if someone makes that configuration. I am going to need the whole rear assembly as well as the front blade. Any lists of manufactures and personal preferences would be appreciated.

I am having a Hi-Viz front sight put on my Mountain Revolver, but I
can't tell you how well it works as I haven't got the gun back from
MagNaPort yet.

These folks have a good selection of dot sights:
(no affiliation, have not bought from them, etc.)

I'd say try the S&W factory sights first. Fancy aftermarket sights are easy to find for rifles and autos but not so available for revolvers.

Take a look at the Burris Fastfire I really like it and it has a very quick aquisition and really clear not a blurry red blob like others I have seen.

I carried my M610 4" as a Deputy Sheriff for years. I had Meprolite Tritium Sights on it. A replacement rear blade with 2 dots mounted on the factory rear sight assembly. The front assembly replaced the Red Ramp insert. They worked fine for years. I just had a look at them. They are getting pretty dim after possibly as long as 15 years on the gun.

NOTE: I would make sure to get a HOT set directly from Meprolite. A distributor might have had them on the shelf for years. I bought a set of Wilson Nite Eyes that were dim the day they were installed.

Tritium - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"While tritium has several different experimentally determined values of its half-life, the National Institute of Standards and Technology lists 4,500±8 days (approximately 12.32 years)"
