Default Visible changes in early edition of new Model 19-1

In a Christmas greeting, just sent out by S & W on Facebook, they featured a right side view of the new Model 19-1 Performance Center .357. Readily apparent was the relocation of “PERFORMANCE CENTER” from the left side of the barrel to the right, plus what appears to be a pin driven in below the barrel and just forward of the pin on the front sight. I can’t find a view of the left side to see what has changed there? Could the pin be retaining a second lock for the end of the ejector, or what?

I just discovered, to my chagrin, that the pistol I thought was a Model 19-1 is a Performance Center 586 L-comp. I’ll stick with my Performance Center Model 19 and pay closer attention in the future. ——now, if they bring out a matching 6 cylinder, 44 Magnum, howbeit on the larger frame, it might get my attention.
