Default 686 CS1 4"

Pulled this one out of the back of the safe and took a few quick snaps. I bought this new many years ago. A lot of folks may not know of the CS1 as it was a contract gun with the US Customs Dept. There were a handful of 3" and 4" guns released to the public all with round butts and 686 no dash.

Thanks for the offer... I sold the 3" model years ago and regretted it ever since.

Sweet gun Gman.......

I had a 4inch 686 (no dash) round butted in the mid/late 80s, added compact Pachmyers ( now with Spegel extended boot grips), a long red ramp insert (serrated to match the ramp serrations) and action job....... to use in PPC.

After my 3" 66 it is still my favorite carry gun.

Wish I had kept my 3" 586 but I traded it ........

it was just too heavy for concealed carry vs. a 3" 66........and

as a belt gun ..... I would just take the 4" 686.
