Default oversize throats on 25-2

Hi, I have a friend that will be getting a 25-2 soon I have read threds about oversize throats on this model S&W what exactly is an oversize throat mean? It seems to effect accuracy so some guys cast larger bullets to compensate, any info would be appreciated thanks.

Welcome to the forum.
I'm no expert on this but basically it's the holes on the front side of the cylinder that were cut a little too big. I believe they should measure .452 but can be up to about .457, at least I think I remember someone saying their's were .457.
Someone with more info should be along.
