What J-frame comes in a 5"?? I was able to find a S&W marked holster (RH) for my 6" small frame gun, but I've never even heard of a 5" variant. I'm thinking you are getting into the custom holster area with that gun. You might be able to find one of the Uncle Mike's or similar generic holsters in ballistic nylon, but other than that possibility, I don't know where you would even start looking.

The model 60 comes in a 5", and there's been 5" J's in the past.

I had a Hunter holster for a M 60-18 in 5" that worked well. Can't remember the model number. It carries too low for concealment, but great for field carry. Both gone now.

While there is definitely such a thing as a 5" J frame, I can't say the same thing about a left handed, kydex, paddle holster to fit it. Ya might have to go the custom route or study up and do it yourself.

You are talking about a concealment holster for a 5 inch? Try Ray at Lobogunleather.com. He can do almost anything you want at a decent price, sounds like you want a Threepersons or a Pancake model.

FIST FIST, INC. says they make any of their holsters for J frames with any barrel. They will also make 'em left handed. The only paddle holster they show on their web site is leather, but they also say any holster in the line can be made in kydex.
I have several all-kydex FIST holsters. They are all IWB models, and while not particularly pretty they are completely functional. I have long been intrigued by their "hybrid" models, which are thin leather laminated over thin kydex. They say they'll make any of their models this way for an extra $50. Untitled Document
You have an unusual enough set of needs that if any of their models look the least bit interesting, I'd guess it would at least be worth a phone call to 'em to talk about the reality and cost of getting one.

Thanks again for all the input. Keep them coming, if there are still more choices. I will be making calls to fist and simple rugged.
