PC13 or 681PC
For a everyday carry gun if you could only choose either a PC13 or a 681PC with 3 inch barrel - what would you choose? And why?

Either would make a fine carry piece. I have the PC13 and like its weight and balance. Not sure if I like the DAO. The PC 681 is a seven shot.
Both the PC13 or PC 681 revolvers are pricey and hard to find.
Perhaps a regular Model 13 or 65 could do the same job for cheaper.

chop,
boy i agree 1000%.get the pc guns,if you want some rare nice collectors,or closet queens, but pick up a nice 65 3 inch and do an action job,and you will be tickled.and it wont hurt to see a nic or rub spot.my 2 cents..there are some nice 65 guns to be found.even a 64 heavy barrel 3 inch with +p is a helluva round .identical in size and weight and feel.those pc guns are so expensive, nice and sweet and pretty, but expensive.

681PC.
7 shots as opposed to 6.
PC based which I truly dig
L frames, for me, are MUCH more comfortable with a .357 load (and you can feed em steady too on that diet)
and finally...cause I'm looking for one of these at the moment .

I have wanted both the PC13 and the PC 681.
I never came across a PC13 and the PC 681 I did see was way over priced.
So, I picked up a neglected 3" 13-3 and had it converted to DAO with bobbed hammer. Had a great action job done to it and viola - poor mans PC13.
One slick little carry gun. I vote PC13 as the 681 is a little chunky, for me. Regards 18DAI.

Then I change my vote to the PC13. You REALLY need to keep that one and send me a PM and I'll give you an address to mail that horrible 681PC. You wouldn't want anyone to see you with that one. No Sir. Not that horrible ole L frame. Get rid of it immediately and keep the perfect, sublime, and well...just "You" PC13.

PC13. It is (IMO) a better-handling revolver.
