I was looking at some laser etched grips on the S&W web site and saw some grips that I liked . I am thinking of putting a set on my 629-5 mountain gun . Does any one have experience with the laser etched grip ? How does the grip hold up to shooting ?

The grips will hold up over time. They are made by the Altamont Grip Company. Go to their website and you can get a better selection. Since they are an OEM supplier they can install medalions.
