Default Significant advantage of 7" barrel?

I can get a Talo S&W 686 7-shot with 7" barrel and unfluted cylinder for a really good price. However, I'm curious if I'm better off just getting the one with a 6" barrel. My original plan was to get a 686 with 6" barrel until I saw the 7" for such a good price.

Not sure of any other differences between the stock 686 and the Talo. You do get the extra inch of sight radius and it might give 25-50fps more velocity with hotter loads. But you'll have a harder time with finding holsters over the 6".
