Talking Took the S&W plunge...

I have never owned any S&W before last month. Only Rugers & Colt revolvers. (Still have them)

But last month I was in my local gun shop and two S&W's called my name and I came home with them.

9mm M&P
Model 629 44mag Performance Center

I have to be honest, I love both these... So I just wanted to say I joined the club..!

Just what I needed, ANOTHER reason to buy firearms! My wife told me I can’t go to the gun shop now until the end of the year now. I have bought 7 new since Nov 2010. (In only two trips to the shop)

I already have the next one in line, the 460 with the 14 inch barrel. I told her "fine I can wait until Christmas time and this will be your gift to me!"..

Yeah, grin!
Welcome to the forum.
The M&P is a fine gun. It's gonna be easier than those big revolvers. Enjoy.

Thanks again everyone, and yes I love the stainless look. I thought about sending this 44mag back to S&W and having it buffed to a high gloss. Not sure I like the beaded look that much.

Ok got to shoot the PC 44 mag... I can say, SWEEEEEEEEEEEEET... Shoots like a dream and the trigger is like glass and the super crisp break...

The recoil is not noticable at all due the the barrel and compensator... I am very impressed, I think I need to start collecting S&W..! My wife will love me for that.. HAHAHA

Ronno - I just "took the S&W plunge" a few weeks ago. I now own a 1979/1980 Model 64-3 and a 1988 Model 60 (no dash). Love them both! Bought them from an area gun dealer who had purchased several "collections". It let me acquire a couple great S&W revolvers at good prices.
