329PD - new style rubber grips, where to buy?
Just bought a NEW 329PD. It came with the regular AHRENDS wood grip (open backstrap) but had an expected suprise. A rubber grip (with S&W logo) with a covered backstrap. Anyone know what I can buy a couple more grips of the same style for my 2 other N-Frame RBs? A lot of the pictures of the N-frames guns seem to have updated with the new grip.

Have you tried calling S&W? I've bought factory grips over the phone before from them.

I have the 329NG and put aftermarket S&W X-frame rubber grips on it, I purchased them off of the S&W website. I believe that is what you are looking for, check them out.

I started a thread about this same issue.
New "synthetic" stocks from S&W
I sent an email to Altamont asking if they are making them but I didn't get a reply. Someone will figure it out at some point. I don't know why some of these things have to be such a secret squirrel ordeal. I think they are foolish for dropping the Hogue and Pachmayr options since they both work so well. No doubt this just goes to the lowest bid for the biggest contract.

The grips I bought off of the S&W website look like MODEL 500 IMPACT ABSORBING HOGUE SQUARE BUTT CONVERSION GRIPS (SKU 294670000)
The discription says the frame must have rounded corners on butt of frame and it fits model 29, 629.
Call or e-mail them to be sure they will fit the 329. They look exactly like the grips I put on my 329NG last year; sorry, I don't have the receipt from when I purchased mine.

I'm still trying to get an answer to the same question. I want a set for my Model 64.

This grip isn't the new style grip that S&W is currently using, however it is IMO the finest grip you can mount on a S&W. The 500 Magnum monogrip, which does cover the backstrap, carries the S&W logo, features a "coke bottle" profile, and has a firmness that is "just right". Obviously, I'm a big fan of this particular grip and have one mounted on my 610-3, 620, and 625. They are also shipped with the mounting clip, which in my case was a good thing because the wood grip it came with used a different clip and screw.

I have been looking for confirmation, but haven't come up with anything solid for a part number for the X-frame grips for my 329PD. Shooting it in the cold thus week end was the last straw. I called S&W and the customer service guy told me the sku Prod_294670000 grips won't fit it. I called Hogue and was told they can't sell direct, I have to buy through S&W. Since the Prod_294670000 are the only ones that appear close I ordered them hoping the S&W Rep. is mistaken. Product: Model 500 Impact Absorbing Hogue Square Butt Conversion Grips
