Grabbed this -3 a couple weeks ago. Finding a decent pre-lock that wouldn't break the bank was harder than I thought.

I do—they fit my hands much better than most finger-groove grips, although since they are very hard they don't prove any cushioning for magnum loads.

I like mine, too. I have a set on my J-frame and like them a lot.
When I bought the 686 I was on the fence about VZ because it is a square butt. I am very happy I went with them. They are much more trim than factory target grips and the checkering is very sharp (this may not be a good thing for all, but they stay put in your hand when firing hot loads).
They are my fourth set of VZs. I've been happy with all of them.
