Letter from Roy Jinks indicates that 306 units were shipped in mid 1998 to Germany [ Serial # ETC0001 through ETC0306.] This is a PC modification to Model 617-1. S&W dealer Wischo placed the order for Product Code 170122.
( Special Order # 8190 )

Description
Stainless Steel Bead finish
Profile barrel ( 6" )
Round butt
Grips: Per Roy Jinks the weapons were shipped with stocks however the S&W parts dept indicated they were shipped less stocks. My SN # ETC018X was shipped to me with Nill grips SW03P.
Target trigger 0.400" / target hammer 0.500"!

Default Thank-you for posting the details.

That is one PC revolver that any k22fan would love to find. It's not likely but maybe one of these years I'll have one. Please consider e-mailing the information in your letter to the authors of the SCSW. They are collecting information and may print a 4th ed. eventually. The 3rd ed. only had scant mention of this PC gun's existence.

Default Wow Tanzer,

Would love to see a full spread of photos on that beauty. Also a list of improvements performed by PCt would be appreciated. Thanks for sharing.
