Default BMT vs Deluxe Moonclip tool which is better?

The BMT tool is caliber specific, costs 80 dollars, but seems to work extremely well. [From what I have seen on the net.] The Deluxe Moonclip Tool costs about 40 dollars, can change calibers for 5 bucks, but does it work as well as the BMT tool? Anyone out there with any experience please let me know. Thanks.

I've been using the "Deluxe Moon clip tool" with the extra mandrils in different calibers for going on 5 years, but mine was made before the double holes on the end was added.

Mine has the single hole. Doesn't seem to slow me down on either 38 or 45 size brass, but considering how well made and well designed the tool is, probably there is some advantage to which I just haven't yet been exposed.

No complaints.

Never used the other kind you mention, can't comment.

+1 on the Deluxe Moon clip tool. I haven't had it that long, but it is a solid, well built tool. Easy to use for both loading and unloading, and can be used on multiple rounds/models just by changing the arbor. Mr Walker's customer service is excellent as well.

Another Moonclip Tool fan here. No need to spend twice as much. The BMT tool is very efficient. I would say more so than the Moonclip Tool but I wouldn't want to drop $80 for each different caliber or round count.

I just bought a BMT. It's extremely well built, fast and easy to use. It looked like a much nicer mooner than the other.

No regrets.
