Show Off Your J-Frame Leather!!!
What are you carrying your J-Frame in and would you care to share picures? I'd love to see OWB, non-concealed options you use, but interested in all.
Thanks-

My Model 37 in an OLD Hunter holster from the 1950's,back when their carving was equal to anyone's. It's propped up on a Mika, which is the one most often used.

Those are all fine pics of holsters and carry options. My standard M60 carry is in a blue jean rear pocket, available in right or left hand. I know... I know... I need a mo betta carry rig for safety reasons.

Wow - some great carry options you all have.
Fat Tom - I'm partial to carving and like the looks of your holster. Whats the back like - high ride, cant, etc.?
Jeff45 - Now that's what I'm talking about! Love the looks of that holster. Add Fat Tom's carving and it would be about perfect!
OK Hog - I'm doing the same as you right now.....
How about everyone else?
Thanks,

hard to decide sometimes!
Around here in the boonies I carry that 37 in that old Brauer Bros. nearly all the time. Traveling, I like that cross draw on the right. Sometimes in town the Uncle Mikes is a good choice.
I like the Brauer Bros. about as well as any J frame holster I have owned. I'm gonna hate the day that It wears out, Oh well I'll probably be gone by that time anyways
Have a good evening folks!

Here are three holsters for a 3-inch barrel 60 Pro that I attached to a recent posting.
The first is an IWB Bianchi #3, the second is DeSantis Speed Scabbard, and the third is a Milt Sparks Versa Max II. All three holsters work with and fit the 60 Pro perfectly. The Bianchi was found on eBay for about $25. The DeSantis was also purchased on eBay - brand new in the package for about $45. Both are very functional holsters and well made.
Milt Sparks holsters are in another league. This one is horsehide and sharkskin and took 6 months +/- to receive after first placing the order. But, it was well worth the wait. I've had three Milt Sparks holsters and each one was a beautiful piece of art.

How long did it take you to get it after you ordered it? I put in for a order on one a 6 hours ago and haven't heard anything back yet. I resubmitted my order just incase it did not get there the first time, I see he has it listed as having a possible 6-8 week wait time.

When I ordered I received an e-mail invoice a few days later. I paid via PayPal. I received my holster about 5 or 6 weeks after that. I remember being surprised that I had gotten it earlier than anticipated. Your order may be different, though.
I'd suggest waiting a few days for the invoice to arrive. However, you may want to contact him and make sure he knows you only wanted to submit one order, not two.

I got my invoice from him about a day or two later. I paid via PayPal, but I contacted him about the cant on mine, and once we got that sorted out, it was almost eight weeks to the day that I received mine.
I echo what CO said, I'd make sure he knew you only wanted one holster, and not two.

Well, no one has posted this combo, so I will. I replaced the OEM grips with Hogue Monogrips that cover the backstrap, and the holster is a PWL 120/TS for the J Frame

Chipmunk - That may be the exact holster I invision crafting for myself. I'm having trouble picturing that at 7:00 - are you a southpaw? I'm a right hander and if I put that at 2:30 or 3 it would be about perfect. Care to share any details of how you crafted it? Love your workmanship! That leather has character! Thanks for the post.

top: Bianchi 55L "Lightning" works great for Bodyguard, Centennial and Chiefs Specials. It's my most frequently used holster.
middle: Bianchi 5BH
bottom: Bianchi 100 "Professional" IWB which also makes a great clip on pocket holster when I wear my favorite pull-over or overshirt.

Galco Summer Comfort or a Mika round pocket depending on dress. Usually the Mika, but the Galco makes a better picture...

My old LAPD off-duty rig. This holster was made for me when I was on probation by a neighbor of mine in Burbank. The 442 inside was also used as my "duty gun" for buys when I worked narcotics. It was shoved into my left-front pocket, sans holster.

All of the photos of your rigs are fantastic! I've been eyeballing various holsters for a while. The pictures of your actual working holster/gun combos beat the stock holster manufacturer photos any day of the week!
