Probably going to be buying a 17-5 4" until I saw this I thought all 17 were 6" I guess this is just a M-18 stamped 17-5 I am sure this is not rare but maybe uncommon does this model carry a premium asking price is $600.00 maybe pick it up for $575.00 but I never run across these and I don't have a .22 so it fills a whole in my modest collection. Is this a fair or comparable price? The gun appears to be in excellent condition with very nice target stocks and just a hint of blue wear at the muzzle no box or docs. Opinions please.

When the model 18 was discontinued the 17-5 with a heavy 4" bbl was born. Not sure how many were made but 575. is a fair price. Nice gun, Larry
