Default Holster recommendations for 629 classic 5 in

Does anyone have any recommendations for a holster for a 629 classic 5 in, Rt hand strong side? Comfort and being out of the way are the main considerations. As high as possible w/o being top heavy on belt would be good also.

Thanks

Check the Bianchi Model 5BHL - it rides high, cants forward somewhat and is lined. I have one for my 5" Classic DX and use them for my hunting revolvers. They don't interfere with hunting activities like climbing into a ladder stand.

Check out LOBO on this forum or Simply Rugged. One of those should suffice.

5BHL is cheap, looks good and is tough.

Dillon has a holster made by Mitch Rosen called the 5JR-DL that is very good. I got one for my 5" 629 back when Kramer still made Dillon's holsters and have one of the current model by Rosen for a 5" 610--good leather for class wheelguns!

fishcreekrim,

Here is another Bianchi option that could be easier for you to find. Though this is a right-hander it is also made for a lefty. This is a 6 to 6.5" Bianchi No. 111 Cyclone cut down to five inch by a leather specialist to fit my 629-6 five inch. Perfect fit....

Oops!! Just noticed another poster is asking for info for a 629 5" left hand holster. Confused the two posts.....
