Local guy has one for sale.
What is the going price for the 442, with or without the IL?
Should it be in the $400 range?
Thanks.

Should be able to find one without the lock under $400. I gave $361 for mine at Tanner's Sports Center in Jamison, PA.

Nope, $400 is too high. Price is same for ILS or no ILS, though the no locks are harder to find.

The going price was $350 for a while, but lately I've seen it creep back up toward $370. I'm not sure if this is due to an increase in dealer cost, or just the market.

My local dealer quoted $350, I think Buds gets $360 shipped (#150544 no-lock)

Last one I bought, about two or three months ago, was a brand new no lock and I paid $285 (the LGS was having a big sale). Definitely not the going price! :)

You should be able to find one in the $350 to $375 range.

Keep in mind that the Bud's price is actually $371.83 if you pay with a credit card. Factor in transfer fee, and you're paying the same as you would from a reasonable, local store, even after tax.

Got my No-Lock today from Bud's. Ordered last week w a personal check (because of the credit card issues I have read about). Once they shipped it came from KY to NV overnight. $361 shipped; my local shop doesn't charge for transfers, just the $25 Brady.

Just a thought - I have never been able to pick up guns at the prices that get posted in response to this type of question. If you can get those kind of prices - lucky you! If not, and maybe you are $25-50 over, its probably still OK if you want it.

I've paid my share of high prices! :) But, like you say, if you want it, go for it. Besides, in two or five years, the price you paid will be cheap compared to what they will sell for then.

I just bought a used one for $325
I also just received "the plug" so will be doing the surgery on the lock very soon.
