Default Thumb Rest Questions

I'm back, and I have a questions! I want to know about thumb rests, are they any good, and do they interfere with holsters, and speed loaders?

Yes, yes, and yes.

Revolvers with large thumb rest stocks were/are intended as range/target pistols, not for holster carry!
