My new Model 60-15
Nice j-frames! I just picked mine up a couple days ago! Gave it a Ballistol bath and took some close-ups... S&W revolvers are beautiful!

I have a number of J's but will only post my favorite.
Model 36-2 that's been worked by Pistolsmith Teddy Jacobson, Actions by "T".
This J is as smooth as silk and one of the most accurate shooter's I have.

My Model 49 Bodyguard...
I had owned one some 25 years ago. So when I saw this one, it was all over in a nano second.

Understand it is a 5 shot but why not put one more round in the speed strip, just in case? I would hate to think you were one short if you needed it.

Inspired by this thread. I originally ordered the black stocks from altamont but they sent white. I really like the way it looks and the grip adapter from BK seems to give me a solid grip. Now I need to learn to shoot this thing as I am a rookie to small DA revolvers.

I really like the 60 Pro grips, SKU #411740000 ~$43 +s/h +s/t, from S&W Accessories:
My only other J-frame, my 24/7 pocket protector, is a 642-2 sporting it's OEM boots to aid it's CCW function.

My 60-4 .38 Special Heavy Barrel with target sights never ceases to impress me at the range. I put 15 shots into under 4 inches (2nd shot flier due to a flinch-my wife fired her gun and I jerked the trigger!) at 50 feet standing. I've shot several sub 2 inch groups with this gun at 50 feet.

That is one of those..."Why didn't I think of that." Carrying the Speed Strip would increase it from 100% to 120%. I like that.

Just makes sense to me. I would probably drop a round if I ever had to use it in the heat of the moment so it can't hurt to have another round on the strip.

After about a year of sitting in the safe my Talo has come out and is now my wife's carry. It has the 405 CT grips now. Now I want one in 357 to be my BG for my Glock 29SF 10mm. Any recommendations? I like the 640 Pro series..

Attached is a pic of my one month old BG38 Bodyguard 38 Special snubbie.
Oh, wait... No pics for now, it is still at S&W being repaired after the action locked up!
Sorry, couldn't resist.

pci of my j frame?
MY
dad passed away back inn 1980. My mom had the pistol until she passed away in 2003. I inherited it after she passed away.
I am new to pistols but I found the model number in frame where cylinder opens. It isa model 30 32 caliber long . I am not sure of age of pistol but it is in excellent condition, never been fired a lot. I shot it 50 times when I got my ccw License I t shoots very good I made a 100 on my shooting test with it. Antbody that can shed some light on this pistol for me. I\Maybe I should noot carry it as an every day gun.

Here's my J's. A 442, 642, 317 kit gun and a 37. I bought the 37 as is. It had been Metallife coated and wearing the Pac grips. I was told it was never fired. I cured that virginity.

It is a model 43C in 22LR. The speedloader is a Speedbeez. It is a rather nice gun! I am waiting to get it back from S&W after 2 times back, for repairs. They have had it longer than I have!

My 317 Kit Gun went back twice also. Mine suffered from cylinder cramping (thats what they called it). Once they got it right I find myself carrying that gun more than any other while in the woods. I think it weighs less than my key ring and goes bang. Nothing feels better hanging from my hip than that 317 because I don't feel it at all. I bet that 43C is even better and must be strapped down for fear of it floating away .
