Default Birthdate for a 617 please

Gday,
Just found a 617, 6 shot .22 cal revolver and put a deposit on it. It has had a lot of neglect externally, and a lot of holster time, but mechanically is ok, and will clean up well.

I am intersted in its year of manufacture, with a serial number of BHM41XX.

Thanks in advance,

Cheers,

Aussie D

You're in luck, the standard reference puts this one in either July or August of 1991. Enjoy!

You're very welcome. How is spring going "down under"?
