Default More Proof that God Loves Me

I made 2 trades today off of some local sites.
One is a 629 snubbie. I haven't picked the gun up yet, but it is a S&W 629-6 stainless .44 Mag Backpacker model with the 2 1/2" ported barrel. I won't meet up to pick the gun up until Sunday, but I am very excited. This will be my first N frame, and looks to be in excellent shape from the pics.
I also traded a Glock 21 for an M&P full size in 357 Sig. I've never owned or shot this caliber before, so I am also excited to get it. Won't pick it up until Monday. This will be my 5th M&P. I know this is the Revolver forum, but I just wanted to share the good news. I will post on the M&P forum as well.

Sounds like you did really well and the 357 Sig is a great round as I shoot them in two of my Sigs.

Thanks, I almost turned the guy down as it will be another caliber to add, but I was intrigued by the opportunity.

Outside my revolver world I have a bunch of 9mm and 45 ACP shooters. Even though 357 Sig and 40 are great calibers -- I know how my mind works -- if a buy a 40 or 357 Sig -- I'll have to buy a 1000 or so rounds for it - just in case.

Yeah, I will be in the same boat. I have a Cheaper Than Dirt store nearby, so I will just stock up a bit at a time. I also have been wondering if I can reform 40 brass to reload the 357, but I have no experience yet with reloading. I've bought equipment, but not used it yet.
I am still building up the .44 Mag supply. I have a couple of hundred rounds on hand and the trade comes with another 170. I already have dies for this as I shoot a lot of .44 Special. As a matter of fact, I don't know that this 629 will ever see any magnum rounds. That seems like it would be punishment coming out of a snub-nosed gun.
