M-629-6 Backpacker....Alloy/Steel?
A friend just bought a 2 1/2" Backpacker. ALL I can find out online is there are MANY of them for sale, rather than the spec's I need.
My SCS&W #3 only goes as far as the -5's.
Are these an alloy or steel framed gun? WEIGHT?
Thank You,
FN in MT

I have a friend who has one. I know it is stainless steel, just like the other 629's, and IIRC, it weighs about the same as my Mtn Gun 629, or about 39 ounces unloaded.
