Default Please educate me

I am fairly new into handguns, having been a long gun guy all my life.

I just picked up a new Model 60 Pro this weekend. Have not shot it yet but love the feel of it for a small revolver. But here are a couple of questions on it.

I read that these have a "match grade" barrel. Is that correct?

Also the front sight is plain black. I see others say theirs have a tritium (sp?) front sight. Is this an option?

Thanks for the help.
