Moon clip problem?

Have some 625-3's (45 ACP) and a 610-2 (10mm) that use moon clips.

For those of you that have two different calibers that use moon clips, how do you keep them separate?

I had thought about spray painting one a different color fromt he other which would help in identification.

I have known shooters who engraved the caliber on the moon clip and others who used a drop of different colored fingernail polish to distingush them

Mine are a 6-shot 45 and a 5-shot 9mm, so I don't have a problem telling 'em apart.

It's pretty easy to spot the 10mm moon clips, they feature that relief slot in the fingers between each position and the 45ACP clips are solid. As for the loaded clips, I can feel the difference in weight right off, however I only run 230 gn. loads in my 625.
