Turn Lines on New TRR8?
Is it normal for a brand new TRR8 to have turn lines from the factory? I assume since its a performance center gun, it was tested a little more extensively at the factory, so it might be normal. The line is pretty faint but has broken through to the bare metal in a few tiny spots on the edges of the grooves in the cylinder.
Its not a big deal since I plan to use the gun anyway--just slightly annoying if my local shop is trying to pass off a used or display gun as new. Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't worry IMO that's normal. Some guns have more pronounced turn lines than others. The black finish shows it more than stainless.

A faint turn line is normal. It just seems more pronounced on some. The guns are shot three times at the factory, but they also go thru a number of non-firing function tests during the assembly process.

It's a flippin gun. Go shoot it. Revolvers without turn lines shouldn't be allowed to exist. They should all be given to me.

You're going to have a real distinct turn line if you shoot the TRR8 as much as I would... Did you buy a combat revolver or a Rolex?
