A Sucker for the Ladies
Just picked this up from a gentleman in Tennessee. A 60-3 Lady Smith 3 inch stainless with combat grips. This will be Lady Smith number six. Of course my wife saw it and it is no longer mine, I had possession of it about 15 minutes! No outer box but has the maroon clamshell case, missing the bronze brush and paperwork. Very nice condition none the less. Here are a few pics.

They were marketed towards the ladies, but a good revolver is a good revolver.

thanks. would i like it better than my model 15?
is it light or something?
i could never handle the recoil of a 38spc with less weight to absorb recoil.
it is a nice looking gun.
i just looked it up. it is lighter than my k frame.
this is a man's gun.
a proper lady's gun really should weigh more than a man's gun.
little guns hurt.

It is a beautiful gun, and a decent deal at $465 shipped. Very smooth trigger pull and extremely crisp and light in single action.
It is my understanding that the combat grips on this model were designed for smaller hands.
susieqz, it is considerably lighter than a k frame, about 12 oz. lighter.
I would prefer a good set of rubber grips if shooting this on a regular basis. We will see if my wife enjoys shooting it. I believe she won't as she has arthritis. So maybe I will get it back!

Markyboy57, nice revolver. I have one LadySmith and really like shooting it.
I'm glad to hear that you may get it back, but not so glad as to the reason why. I hope both you and your wife can enjoy shooting it.
susieqz, as a general rule, J frames are guns that get carried a lot, and shot a little. So recoil is not the first factor in the decision making process when buying a J frame.
