N Frame Duty holsters
I've been looking for a basket weave or regular high ride N Frame duty holster. Who still makes a simple high ride -snap N fame holster?
Will a k work?

A K likely would not initially. If pliable to begin with you might be able to soak it in alcohol and stretch/reshape it. I'd attempt this with something expendable.

I carry a n frame on duty but in high gloss. The only companies I have found are Tex Shoemaker, AE Nelson Leather, and a local company her in OKC called Looper Leather. I know most can adjust the ride of your holster. I have experience with looped and tex, but not much with Nelson.

You may want to try E-Bay. I have had very good look there. I do know that they havd had several N frame duty holsters recently. Most of them in basketweave.
BTW one of the holsters I got was a Safariland (plain leather) swivel holster duty holster for a 4" S&W K frame. I won the bid at $10.00 and it appeared brand new (Never used, still in the factory bag).
Good luck

AE Nelson break front (or a Hoyt if you can find one)
I don't carry a revolver on duty (I couldn't per policy even if I wanted to), but if I did it would be an AE Nelson #84

Try El Paso Saddlery. www.epsaddlery.com
Look at the Threepersons and similar designs. They have one that's a dead ringer for the old Safariland Model 29.
If you can wear basketweave, theirs is the best that I've seen.

I agree with williamlayton, check with Black Hills. Rudy made this rig for my 586 L-Comp, it's an Askins Avenger style holster with a metal reinforced mouth for easy reholstering. Very comfortable and wears well. I'm sure he can adapt any of his designs to your N frame.

That's a good looking rig - stocks are to - color and stamping of the leather along with grain and color of wood seem to make the hole rig pop, very nice

I don't know when they quit making them, but for a while Safariland made their 070 level 3 duty holster for "N" frames. I have one for my M58.

Dogmann, I'm real partial to the DeSantis thumb break scabard for the N frame (either 4" or 3"). Options are black/tan, unlined/lined, plain/basketweave.

Dogmann: If you need a holster for what I think you do-call me I have exactly what you need. We can make a deal.

Don Hume makes a couple of different styles for the N frame.
