Default Serendipitous discovery

I have three Smith & Wesson revolvers, a 4 inch Model 681, a 3 inch Model 13-3, and a 1⅞ inch Model 37, that all turned out to date from 1982! I bought the Model 13-3 many years ago; I received the Model 681 as a gift from a former neighbor about eight years ago; and I traded for the Model 37 on Christmas Day. Three different guns in three different frame sizes obtained years apart, and they all date to the same year. Maybe I should play 1-9-8-2 in the Pick 4!

I have one gun with my zip code in the serial number and another that was born on my birthday (month and day). Just a total accident in both cases. What are those odds?

My 3" model 60-15 has my birthday as the serial number, will never let that one go!
