Model 15-6 @ LGS price
I found a 15-6 at my LGS that is priced around $400 and with the numbers engraved on the side plate and the damage on the side of the barrel I tried to get a better price and got stopped at $325. Is this a fair price?

If it was a stainless gun, I'd be tempted because you can do a lot to cleaning up damage to the finish. I have other revolvers so I'd pass, but if you don't and you need a beater gun for the truck or the rough outdoors, then $325 out the door is not outrageous.

I pulled the trigger
$334 OTD, this afternoon. I had these new K grips looking for a home so took off the Goodyear's.

As long as it shoots straight that seems like a reasonable deal to me.
I've got a 15-2 that looks like it was left laying in a pool of blood for a couple of days. It's one of my best shooting guns and I don't have to worry about it getting scratched or dinged up.

I'd buy it, replace the side plate and find a Model 14 barrel...

Love the model 15. Started out in L.E. with a 15 in 1962. Don,t have the original but have a 15-2 for the last 20 yrs.

In my neck of the the woods a really descent condition M15 (1970 - 1980's version) can be found for under $400 bucks in one of the LGS. It used to be the official PD gun here and they are not scarce. A few are beat to smithereens, a few are pristine and most are at least 85% - 90% but they are out there and not hard to find if persistent.

Not bad. Here they are $325 but without the scribbling. Also agency guns but only have some blue wear around the muzzle and cylinder.

Most are local. Not all gun stores have online sales. However.
