Found a new 29-10 at local store today. 950 out the door. Put it on layaway. Iv been lookin for a new 4 inch for a couple years. Just couldn't let it go somewhere else. It timed perfect and it's just awsome. wasnt even lookin for it. Was lookin for powder.

I'm sure you'll love it! Ignore the anti-MIM comments and don't worry about the lock. I don't bother to carry the key any more.
I got a Lew Horton Special 29-10 4" with gold trim and an unfluted cylinder for $870 a few years ago. I guess they weren't selling too well.

Like yours, mine shoots perfectly and I carry it concealed with Hornady LeverEvolution ammo, or Federal Cartridge Power Shok. It's usually in a Galco CM126B Combat Master Belt Holster, but I also have a scabbard-style made custom for me by another forum member here in WI.

I really like the new style grips, too.S&W Lew Horton 29 small.jpg

I purchased one about four years ago, 6 1/2" blue, used, unfired. 29-10. It's gorgeous. Congrats we own the finest m29 ever produced.

Cancer arrived I haven't shot it yet. I cycled it about 100 times the timing and lockup is spot on.

I have four new s&w with the loc and mim I don't worry about.
