From the recent Ellet show they also did a Colt and Ruger 1911.

Interesting looking, to say the least. Never thought of my Governor as a gun you could dress up. A bold step for this distributor, and I'll bet they sell quickly.

I saw and held one today. They are 1 of 100 produced. Looked very nice but I like the utility look of mine. For a special run it was priced well for someone who wants to put one up.

The Gov is a K/L frame. I recently purchased a set of Hogue RB K frame grips that fit perfectly and fit me much better than the stock grips.

Never really been a fan of the governor but that is pretty cool looking. If I had extra change laying around I would pick one up.

That all depends on how one looks at things.
I know quite a few people who think any revolver is a dumb idea.
I've won a few of these non-revolver types over and will keep working on others.
It's funny how a little range time with something they have little to no experience with
can change someone's opinion, at least those who keep an open mind.

It's not about revolver vs auto. It's about usefullness, effectiveness, weight, accuracy, and size to name a few. This thing is sorely lacking in each of those areas.

As a dyed in the wool revolver guy I know all about the revolver vs auto debate, but I'll tell you right now this thing is about as attractive as Rosie O'donnell in a 2 piece bikini. Sure it can be done, but why?

Here's a thread that discusses size & weight as well as, in my case, the why.
To be honest, I was actually surprised at the weights.
Governor vs. Judge

I have a few revolvers. And I really like my Governator.
It is actually a Nightguard in wolfs clothing.
Mine, all dressed up.

My favorite opine so far has been about the lack of accuracy. Now how would someone know that if they haven't fired one?. I flat wore out an old paint can at 25 yards with both Colt cowboy loads and various hardball acp. Upgrading my grips has helped me tremendously with my accuracy.
