I've seen it all
Well, I have seen everything now. Yesterday I saw a snub nosed S& W revolver with bright pink stocks. I thought it was a a third party addition, but you can order them from the factory that way.
Now if they only came in red or green.... http://smith-wessonforum.com/images/smilies/eek.gif

My 5yrold would be all over that. Her air rifle is pink. So is her knife. Even custom dyed the micarta scales pink for her.

When my daughter was 8, I had her pick out a Crickett .22 rifle. She wanted "pink"...I told her no way. Pick another color your baby brother will want to shoot when he gets older.
She got black

I prefer the baby pink overt the hot pink...er, I mean my WIFE does.
No seriously, I could bring any gun into the house no questions asked if it had pink grips.

I like a good fashion statement myself. Nevertheless, I don't know if guns should have fashion colors; colored guns, rifles, etc., seem to defeat their purpose. A colored rifle might be good out in the woods; it would stand out and maybe help differentiate the shooter. However, a revolver with pink grips and some of the colored SA's that I've seen look a bit too much like toy guns. If my daughter has to pull a gun for self protection, I would prefer the problem person realized that he or she should scram, not laugh at her.

So long as it gets them interested in guns, they are still being INTERESTED IN GUNS. They could be purple with green stripes for all I car just so long as my gals are shootin.

I think I saw some Sig 380's at the LGS a few days ago that were some kind of multi-colored stuff. A lady was buying one of them. I don't want designer colors on a gun. Blue, nickle, stainless, or maybe camo for some guns, but not some psychedelic stuff.

whoever had it right. As long as it gets them interested. My ten year old daughter had to have a pink stock on her Cricket when she was four. Now she wants it swapped out for black. Actually, she wants my 10/22!
