This is a great project. I admire your passion, creativity, and ability to create from nothing a working prototype revolver. Don't worry about the nay- sayers. Most of them, myself included, couldn't do what you are doing on your own even if we had all the time and $$. They/We just don't have the talent.
So kudos to you for spending your free time creating a gun you will enjoy and be proud of. Something you can leave as a legacy to your children and grandchildren.

I would buy one just so I could stay away from a heavy automatic that shot the .40 S&W!! This would be an L frame size correct??

Rest assured, there is NO internal lock.
As for Frame size.
When I first started thinking of this project, it was my intent to take an "L" Frame and enlarge it only to the degree that would be neccessary for a 7 shot cylinder chambered for the 40S&W/10mm cartridge along with the 4 point lock up. That my friends turned into the design that you see, which by the way, can accommodate I believe, an even larger .41" cartridge. If you were to measure and compare against both the "N" and "L" frames, excluding the grip dimensions, it's slightly smaller then the "N" Frame and almost all dimensions will differ. My grip design, ends up making the overall Frame longer and higher or "taller" also to accommodate for a more level trigger finger angle by a few degrees when gripping the revolver.
