Let's see your 686 snubbies with rubber grips please
Just bought a new to me 686-1 2.5" bbl with combat grips, which I'm not fund of. So I'd like to see pics of your 686 snubbie with rubber grips.
I know, I know, this thread is useless without pics. As soon as I learn how to post them I will.

Ron, while I don't have a photo of just the 2.5" 686 by it's lonesome, I do have this one.
These are the Uncle Mike's Rd Butt Grips, which are currently being clearanced in S&W's web-site Store.

I surely do, that's why in spite of the fact that I have a number of real nice wood grips for the gun it was wearing those while getting it's picture taken.
There came a point where I crossed over and now see beauty in functionality. Before that I would have never thought of taking a picture, much less posting it on-line, of one of my guns wearing "ugly goodyear" grips.

These Pacmayr Compacs are what I use on my 2 1/2" 686+. It's a no dash, converted to a 7 shooter @ S&W. My 8 3/8" no dash wears Pachmayer Presentation grips. I have factory wooden grips for each, but prefer to preserve them and use the very comfortable shooting Pachmayrs......
