Just bought a new to me 686-1 2.5" bbl with combat grips, which I'm not fund of. So I'd like to see pics of your 686 snubbie with rubber grips.

I know, I know, this thread is useless without pics. As soon as I learn how to post them I will.

Ron, while I don't have a photo of just the 2.5" 686 by it's lonesome, I do have this one.

These are the Uncle Mike's Rd Butt Grips, which are currently being clearanced in S&W's web-site Store.

I surely do, that's why in spite of the fact that I have a number of real nice wood grips for the gun it was wearing those while getting it's picture taken.

There came a point where I crossed over and now see beauty in functionality. Before that I would have never thought of taking a picture, much less posting it on-line, of one of my guns wearing "ugly goodyear" grips.

I prefer the rubber grips myself.
