Default My wife the SW500 Ace

I wanted to congratulate my wife publicly on this forum. This is a pic of her holding my SW500. She shot it using Hornady 350 grain JSP. She only took one shot. As you can see from the target, that was all she needed. She told me so! She was one proud lady and I am one proud husband. Her shot is the one in the middle!

My wife shoots mine, too.... But with light to medium loads. Are you actually shooting yours indoors? Love the 500 in a 6.5 barrel!!

That's great. I'm fixin' to teach mine to shoot as soon as we
get some nice weather. She's expressed an interest, "finally"
so i'm getting her started. I do believe we'll start her with a
.22 however.
You had better keep an eye on your wife. She'll be starting
little "secret gun funds" and such for herself now. But thats better
than getting latched onto your stuff.

She already has her own little fund..she has bought 4 semi autos in the past 3 months and has her eye on a 4th. She says that I can buy my revolvers as long as she gets to buy her semi autos. A marriage made in heaven!

My wife and I are avid hunters and competative shooters, however her shooting is with a bow and mine is with firearms. She will not shoot my magnum revolvers. Maybe your post will encourage my wife to try shooting them so that we can hunt together in our respective seasons. Good luck to you and your wife!

That's impressive. I have never shot a .500 but would be very happy with that good a shot.

So if your wife put the one shot in the middle, who put the four shots in the bottom of the target????

Yet one more example that serves to dispel the myth that the .500 is too much gun for mere mortals to handle.
The 6.5" barrel is really nice because it adds very little weight while maximizing cartridge ballistics in an easy-to-carry package!

Awesome!

Just keep in mind that she's systematically outgunning you (in rounds available).
