627 PC holster?

I have a 627PC 2 1/2 on its way to my dealer now. Hoping to get a nice high ride type holster for hiking. Looks like CME has two different models at a reasonable price. Different cants too. Anybody have experience with CME or do they have a recommendation for a different brand?

Probably will get a J frame holster at the same time for warm weather.

I'm very close to ordering one, (my Mrs believes I'm addicted) and I'm interested in what leather holster is most popular.
 
I am happy to be relatively new owner of a SW 627 PC. I don't "carry" it, concealed or any other way. But when going from car to range, or just taking a walk through the mountains, it strikes me as a bad idea to just stick it in my day pack or in my belt or hip pocket. How do I go about finding a quality holster that best fits this great eight-shooter? I've looked at web sites of a few well known brand name makers, but they don't make it easy to find their product by make model and number of the pistol you have. As mentioned, I'm not real interested in concealment (hard with this revolver regardless of holster I expect). Just looking for handsome, well made holster (leather preferred) that is a good match - in looks, materials and quality of construction- to this really great pistol.
 
Holsters for 627

I have a DeStanis belt slide thumb break in black and two single DeStanis speedloaders holder in leather using the 5 Star speedloaders. I always carry three because Harry carried three. I have a CCW in my home state. With the right belt and holster you don't even know your carrying it.

Contact Richie brothers Custom Holsters....Ask for Skip, all holsters custom molded...been doing this for over 25 years...716-691-6300...tell him Mike with the .45 625PC refered you, he made me 2 custom belt slides for my N frame that are wonderful...
