Default 686 sight question

I have a 686 3 inch and had a quick question for you guys. Am I able to get low profile rear sights instead of the adjustable rear sights through S&W? I have seen them on other models but didn't see anything for the 686.

Welcome to the forum!
No one chimed in so I take a guess and say with four 686 models pictured on their webpage ( Revolvers - Smith & Wesson) none of them have low profile rear sights standard issue.

A call to them ( Contact Us - Smith & Wesson ) would be the best way to get a correct answer.

Are you reffering to the replacement fixed rear combat sight used on some NiteGuard models? It is made by Cylinder&Slide. I have used them on several guns. They come with white dots or plain black. They are available from Midway and others for $90-120. M. C. Slim.
