Default Need help on reduced power hammer spring for S&W Model 22-4

Recently, I purchased a S&W Model 22-4 Model of 1950. It's an N frame square butt. Usually, I buy a set of Wolff reduced power springs to reduce the heavy double action trigger pull and it always works great. However, on the 22-4 the frame is configured somewhat differently resulting in a very weak double action trigger pull with the Wolff springs. Won't even fire consistently with Federal primers! Does anyone have a different source for a spring set that will work with this gun? Would a longer competition style firing pin help? Any other ideas? Thanks.

I'd try putting the original main spring back in and get some different weight trigger return springs from Wolff.

Find the lightest one that will reset the trigger. Then shoot it a bit, I'll bet you'll like the double action better.
