I just got my 1st revolver today, 629-6 and I noticed that the cylinder release? rattles? I tightened the screw, took it of and re screwed it but still rattles, is this normal?

Double check, it might be the hammer block making the rattle noise. Mine does this also, and is quite common in the 629's.

Irn, u are 100% correct... i used the wrong description when i said the release, it's actually the hammer block...
