Default 2005 Model 629 Classic price check

To all you dealers and collectors out there, I got a question for a friend of mine. He bought a .44 mag S&W M629 Classic. Gun was shipped in 2005, so it was made with MIM parts and has a lock... it was bought brand new in a gun shop for $700 out the door in North East Ohio. Bought during the Bush administration. It has 1300 rounds fired through it, but you wouldn't know by looking at it.
He wants to know how much it is worth... he also wants to know how much it is worth if he were to sell it in Ohio. The gun still has the original box and manual that it came with.

Barrel length is 8 3/8.
Gun is in amazing condition, it looks like it has never been fired.
Even though it has 1300 rounds fired through it.
To all appearances...<Neither I nor my friend are gunsmiths>
Forcing cone is like new
Stainless finish is like new
Factory rubber grips are like new
Action is smooth and tight
Rifling is still sharp like new
Sights are still like new

He is curious as to how much it is worth right now. Thank you all for your expertise.
