Default 1st Impression: M629 5" deserves 5 stars

Wow! Balance, ergonomics, control, and when matched with Winchester 210gr. Silver Tips, is a marriage made in heaven. This may be the best, smoothest, revolver/cartridge combo I've ever tried. And talk about accuracy, that's a 10! Overall, it's so buttery smooth, I could shoot this gun all day, especially with the rubber, Hogue finger grips. So nice, yet so powerful.

Please don't believe me, think I'm delusional, cause all of these models (new or used) will now be in short supply:-)

Do others agree or am I dreaming?

Guys: It's just a standard 5" full lug S.S. 629-6 with IL.

Maybe a pic later.

Got one like yours. Mine's VERY SMOOTH with its MIM hammer & trigger.
Shoots good enough with my cast bullets.

I am very happy with my recently aquired 629-4. To me 5" is the sweet spot on barrel lenght for active outdoor carry....
